Basic principles of Chinese fitness:

1. Row: soft, delicate and elastic. Here it is used in the sense of elasticity. Body movements should be soft, supple and resilient, but at the same time dynamic and powerful.

2. Yuan: round. The trajectories of all movements of the human body must be rounded and curved. To achieve an optimal trajectory and a harmonious sequence of movements, one must think in terms of a sphere in order to form a stable connection between the end points of the movement.

3. Zheng: totality, integrity. Strength is generated by the whole body. Fullness in the legs, hips, and lumbar region is fundamental to health and holistic movement.

4. Tui退: back. In this context, this term is understood as a step back or, from a psychological point of view, as an attitude of tolerance, acceptance or humility. Only by accepting ourselves as we are can we allow ourselves to move forward in our development.
